For Immediate Release:
Little Rock, Ark. – The Arkansas Minority Health Commission (AMHC) is now accepting sponsorship applications until Sunday, Nov. 15, for health-related events to be hosted Jan. 1 through June 30, 2021.
In addition to accepting applications related to traditional health topics such as nutrition and fitness, mental health, HIV and obesity, we will also be accepting applications for COVID-19 focused events.
Applicants may review and submit the required sponsorship documents by visiting our webpage here: https://www.arminorityhealth.com/resources/funding-opportunities/.
By Sunday, Nov. 15, applicants must submit their applications via email to Onekia Freeman at firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not require applications to be mailed at this time.
It is the AMHC’s intent to collaborate with community-based organizations, schools, faith-based organizations and others to address the health problems that effect minorities in Arkansas. The AMHC regularly offers sponsorships in a competitive application process in an effort to facilitate the development of new and innovative approaches to promote health and prevent diseases in these communities.
The Arkansas Minority Health Commission works to assure that all minority Arkansans have equitable access to preventive health care and seeks ways to promote health and prevent diseases and conditions that are prevalent among minority populations.
